The image below is from the Planetary Solvency report by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, the UK’s only chartered professional body dedicated to educating, developing, and regulating actuaries based both in the UK and internationally. Recent projections show we’re on track to reach +3.0°C by 2050, a level of heat that puts billions of lives at risk from un-liveable heat, agricultural collapse, social upheaval, and war.
